What is your roast schedule?
Currently, we roast every Thursday.
When I place an order, when can I expect it to arrive?
We ship anywhere in the United States via USPS Priority Mail within 24 hours of Thursday’s roast. Your order will usually arrive in 2-4 days after we ship it. We’ll send you a notification when your order has shipped.
What is our roasting philosophy?
Our goal is to bring the most out of every coffee, while keeping our coffees delicious and approachable. Everyone loves a confident bean. Am I right?
We want to match each coffee lover with the coffee that best matches their taste preferences. If you are looking for a specific taste or roast profile, let us know! Or, if you thrive on spontaneity, dive on in and try them all!
What kind of roaster do you use?
We roast on a Loring S35 Kestrel. Fancy name, huh? This is an efficient and sustainable roaster, utilizing convection heat to roast and a closed air system. Our beans love it in there.
Do you have a dark roast?
Yes, try our coffee from Atanacio Nolasco!
Is your decaf made with chemicals?
No, not ever. We use beans that have been decaffeinated using a water immersion technique.
What is single-origin coffee?
Single-origin coffee is about traceability. It means that we can trace the coffee back to exactly where it is being grown, to it’s origin.
I’m new to specialty coffee. What do you recommend?
Coffee is very subjective and personal. We love hearing people talk about their specific coffee routines and preferences. If you’re not sure what to try, you can ask us directly. Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do you source your coffee?
Our approach is to build relationships along the entire supply chain of coffee. Our focus is on quality, sustainability and collaboration. We work together with coffee farmers, exporters, importers and individuals in-between to ensure we are sourcing the best and most responsible coffee.
Can I change or cancel a subscription?
Most definitely! Just let us know by emailing us at email@example.com.
How is the coffee packaged?
Where do we begin? The packaging for 3-19 Coffee is one-of-a-kind. Not only is it pretty darn attractive, but it’s able to be repurposed, too!
We package our coffee in a compostable kraft bag inside of an airtight bamboo-lidded tin. The artwork on the front of our tin is up to you. You heard us...YOU get to customize your own coffee packaging. Not feeling creative? No big deal, we also collaborate with talented artists.
How should I store my coffee?
Store your coffee inside the airtight 3-19 tin, brew and drink the coffee, then repurpose your tin!
If you are not using your tin to store the coffee, we recommend storing coffee in a cool, dry place, away from heat and light, or in an airtight container. Don’t forget to keep your coffee away from that freezer!
How long will your coffee stay fresh?
Coffee is a perishable item and does have a shelf life. We encourage you to use your coffee within one month of the roast date.
Do you want to know what I thought of the coffee?
Yes, we’d love to hear from you - good or bad - about how you think our coffee tastes. We brew our coffees many different ways to see how the taste may vary, as every brew is unique. Who's to say we won’t learn a thing or two from your brewing method at home. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
