Bali Kintamani Natural
Tasting Notes: tropical fruit, boozy, black tea
medium roast
10 oz, 2 LB and 5 LB available
*May 4th is the next roast day of our seasonal coffee, 3-19's second official Seasonal Release.*Spring has sprung! 3-19 returns to the island nation of Indonesia and visits the Kintamani Highlands of Bali where its long wet season (6 months!) has an outsized influence on how its coffees taste. Because of this rain, most Indonesian coffees are forced to dry their coffees shorter than other methods. Bali Kintamani Natural, however, and the members of the Subak Abian cooperative have instead chosen to slow down the drying phase significantly. By borrowing natural processed techniques from other coffee producing nations, this unique lot has been dried on raised beds and with the fruit still attached. The added time is well worth it, with a cup overflowing with tropical flavors like guava and pineapple and a slight boozy finish. Best served as a pour over, this wonderful cup will do brilliantly in a drip machine or french press as well.$22
