Project Update #1

We are 6 days into the Rural Guatemala Assistance Project and encouraged to see the support and desire to make a difference in these communities. 

Yesterday, we roasted fresh coffee from these mountains and rural areas of Guatemala to ship out to the early supporters of the project! 

On the ground in Guatemala, the Asproguate team shares how they are purchasing and collecting food:

The administrative team makes purchases in supermarkets and large warehouses in the city which is where they sell wholesale products. This takes time because sometimes you have to wait in long lines and because there are restrictions on mobilization due to the pandemic and the region being on "red" alert. There have also been restrictions on hours to go shopping.
